…just walls and a roof. It is intricately woven into the fabric of your being. Within it, you find solace, warmth, and sanctuary. It is often the setting of many chapters of your life, the cradle for the memories you make and the stories you tell. It’s the place where you rest and escape, start families and host loved ones, play with your pets or drink your coffee in the morning.

But it’s also the air you breathe, the materials you touch, the water you drink. 

You are a part of your home and your home is a part of you. This is why we want to build homes that add to your health and wellbeing and that of the planet, not detract from it.

The keets are a product of this vision, in which your home is not only the place where you feel safe; it’s a safe place to be. Our physical and emotional health are integrally tied to where we live. And yet, conventional building practices often use harmful chemicals, low-quality products, and unnatural materials, part of a consumeristic cycle, disconnected from natural systems, devoid of place, and in denial of human needs.

This is neither how it must be, nor how it has always been. We are at a place where conventions need to change. Where we return to a building culture focused on delivering environments that are beneficial to individuals, communities, and the natural world. Where the health of those in the home matters, as well as that of the people who built it. Where the sourcing of materials is ethical and sustainable. Where craft is again appreciated.
